Surge intensity is the mean Composite Z of a market’s five hottest names; “unexpected” connections are at least two standard deviations more prominent in their market than the same pairing in the English-language baseline. Amber “anomaly” marks are an unsupervised isolation-forest advisory: the name’s attention signature in that market and month sits in the extreme tail (top 1%) of its own history — a real geographic rotation or a data artifact; drill in before trusting it.
